Eleuthera

A small group of English Pilgrims sought the shores of Eleuthera in the hopes of religious freedom three hundred years ago, and aptly named this low-keyed island destination “Freedom”. The name, which is a Greek derivative, offers 100 miles of lazy days, quaint colonial villages, and endless spectacular pink and white sand beaches. Charming and favoured for its easy island way, Eleuthera will enchant you as it did the Eleutheran Adventurers hundreds of years ago.

Harbour Island
Renowned for its spectacular three-mile pink-sand beach, this island community offers quaint charm with its white picket fences and friendly conversations with its smiling natives. Its oldest settlement is Dunmore Town, is its crowning beauty, drawing romantics and beachcombers alike.
Spanish Wells
A mere ferry boat ride away is the fishing settlement which was named Spanish Wells because sailors from Spanish galleons filled their casks with fresh water after long sea voyages. The natives of Spanish Wells can trace their ancestry back to the Eleutheran Adventures and the Loyalists.
