Acklins & Crooked Island

The islands of Acklins & Crooked Island are close neighbours separated by difficult to navigate waterways and coral reefs. Together they measure some 200 sq miles long with a population of about 900 people.
These beautiful islands offer unspoiled natural beauty, with rolling hills, jagged coastlines and authentically Bahamian communities.
Today, Acklins is a thriving bonefishing destination. The residents are known for their farming and fishing in settlements with delightful names: Spring Point, Salina Point, Lovely Bay, Snug Corner and Delectable Bay.
Crooked Island is known for its exquisite charm and natural beauty. This quiet island is hugged by miles of unspoiled beautiful white sand beaches. It also offers adventurous exploration especially in Gordon's Bluff where bat caves are found and many chambers and crevices are linked by high tunnels.
